My name is Samuel Nova but I’m often just called Sam. I was born in Denmark 1970 and spent the first 25 years of my life living in various places in Denmark. I later lived in Germany for almost a year, then Ireland for some years, but also lived for a short time in Oslo (when I was ‘young’) and a few weeks in Paris.
I have now settled down in Switzerland and have been living there since 1998. I got two crazy kids here (boy and girl).
I speak and read Danish, English and German. I write in Danish and English and actually prefer writing in English. I do not master German writing yet.
I have been programming ever since my dad got a Sinclair ZX 81 back in 1982, always been very attracted to game development, which I also have been involved with since 1992. I worked on games for PC, Playstation 1, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, mobile phones and other platforms/devices that should not be mentioned yet. To read more about what I worked with in the games business do visit www.Novalicious.com
I’m an avid reader of fiction of all kinds (sci-fi, crime, fantasy, love stories, horror…) but at the same time I do read a lot none fiction also, often in connection with game development, programming and personal development. When I find time for it (not that often) I also play video games (PC, Xbox 360, Wii, NDS and PSP).
I also like a game of online poker, mainly playing low limit poker or sit and go tournaments.
To get some real exercise I do fitness a few times a week and go swimming from time to time (with and without the kids).
